Karen has over 20 years of public accounting experience focusing on not-for-profit organizations as well as working with corporations and partnerships. In addition to traditional tax compliance, Karen’s vast experience includes working with clients to assist with sales and use tax issues, unclaimed property compliance, and IRS and state audit examination representation.
As a Manager in our Tax Group, Karen works closely with clients to ensure full compliance with all Federal and state tax requirements. She is also responsible for providing clients with regular communication regarding new regulations and emerging issues as part of a proactive approach to client service.

Karen has been actively involved with the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and was the committee co-chair for the Financial Accounting Capital and Tax (FACT) committee for two years. Additionally, Karen presents and authors on various issues effecting not-for-profit organizations.
When not in the office, Karen can be found spending time with friends and family and is actively involved in her community.
