Wiss Women's Leadership Forum

Established in 2003, The WISS Women’s Leadership Forum (WWLF) is committed to ensuring women have an opportunity to build rewarding careers. The WWLF fosters leadership through professional activities, mentoring, educational programs and networking opportunities, and taps the expertise of WISS women and their connection with other business leaders throughout the region.

Since its start, the Forum has grown to more than 50 women within the firm actively working in its programs.

Programs and Seminars

The Forum has offered internal and external programs/seminars covering such topics as Financial Planning, Negotiating Skills for Women, Networking, Wealth Management, and Work Life Balance.

Supporting the Community

The WWLF supports the communities it serves through participation in a variety fundraising activities.  Members of the WWLF have participated in Habitat for Humanity projects, Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Accountants Bowl for Junior Achievement, Breast Cancer Awareness Lee Denim Day, American Heart Association Wear Red, and the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree.

Building Connections

The WWLF looks to make connections with other women’s organizations with a similar mission and a goal toward collaboration in producing jointly sponsored programs and networking events.  The WWLF has co-sponsored events with the Essex County Bar Women Division, NJ Chapter of the American Women’s Society of Certified Public Accounts, and Gibbons Women’s Initiative.

Creating a great work environment for our employees is a top priority. WISS is committed to developing ways to continue building the WWLF’s programs and support a healthy work-life balance for all employees.
