Leo J. Zatta, CPA, ABV, CVA, CFE

Partner-in-Charge, Law Firm Services

Leo is Partner-in-Charge of the WISS Law Firm Services Group, a practice within the firm that provides consulting services to law firms as well as litigation support, forensic accounting, business valuations, bankruptcy and other related services.  He is also a member of WISS & Company's Executive Committee. In addition to consulting with law firms and their clients, Leo has vast experience working with contractors, manufacturers, distributors and professional services companies.

Mr. Zatta earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, a Master of Business Administration in Finance, cum laude, and a Master of Science in Taxation, cum laude from Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University, South Orange, New Jersey.   He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in the States of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA).  In addition, he is a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Certified Valuation Analyst Accredited in Business Valuation and Certified in Financial Forensics.

Currently Mr. Zatta is Chairman of the Board of Team Walker, a non-profit organization assisting disadvantaged children in Jersey City.  He is Past President and on the Board of Directors of the Seton Hall University Alumni Association and is currently the Chairman of the University Advisory Committee.  He is a Past President of the Stillman School of Business Alumni Association of Seton Hall University.  Mr. Zatta is also a member the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts, the Regional Business Partnership and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He currently serves as a member of NJSCPA’s Litigation Services Committee.

Mr. Zatta has led seminars on a wide range of accounting-related topics for professional associations and businesses in New Jersey.  His community activities include serving as past Finance Chairman and Past President of the Parish Council as well as Chairman of the Capital Campaign of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church.  He is a past member of the Board of Directors of Advanced Community Health Services, former Treasurer of the Caldwell Republicans and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan New Jersey Chapter of the American Red Cross.
