Ken’s areas of expertise include commercial and residential real estate, export management and manufacturing. His commercial real estate experience includes commercial office, shopping centers, retail, industrial flex and warehouse. His residential real estate experience includes New York City multifamily, co-operative apartment conversions, condominium new development and rehabilitation and “CONDOP” structures.
Ken has been active in the real estate industry for many years. He has a wide range of experience in tax planning for individual, estates and trust taxation. His business consulting background includes experience in the Umbrella Real Estate Investment Trusts (UPREIT) area. His clients have converted over $120 million dollars of real estate to a National Real Estate Investment Trust. Ken has also assisted his clients in planning, development, sale, acquisition, construction, leasing and financing of their real estate. He has also has expertise in the area of government assisted housing projects which include HUD regulated properties.
His clients include a plastic manufacturer of pressure, vacuum formed rotational molded products. Over the years, Mr. Trainor has obtained the unique, practical, hands-on business acumen that many practicing public accountants need. He understands that making a business more profitable is only the first step of a broader objective of retaining those profits.
Mr. Trainor has a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from Bernard Baruch College of the City University of New York. He also has a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from St. John’s University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
