Arthur Schwartzman is Partner-in-Charge of the New York City office of Freeman & Davis, a division of WISS & Company, LLP. As a CPA for more than 25 years, Arthur has developed a diversified audit and tax practice focusing on privately-owned businesses. He has in-depth experience in the wholesale distribution, manufacturing and professional services industries. Arthur works with his clients in overseeing all aspects of their business needs, including accounting, tax and management advisory services. He has an extensive background in bank negotiations, business acquisition and sales and financing transactions. In addition, for over 15 years, Arthur has worked with hundreds of clients to maximize tax benefits under the New York State Empire Zone and other government based economic development initiatives.

Mr. Schwartzman is a member of WISS & Company’s Executive Committee.  He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and serves on the Board of Directors of the Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation.  He is a graduate of The Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York.
