Theresa possesses significant industry experience with not-for-profit, housing, and real estate entities. She advises clients on accounting and related business issues unique to not-for-profit clients, including budgeting, operations improvement, cost containment, internal control review, procedures manuals, staff training and tax issues. She also helped author the “Guide to Audits of Non-Profit Organizations,” a valuable resource used by accountants nationwide.

As the Partner-in-Charge, Not-for-Profit Services, Theresa brings to WISS over twenty-nine years of experience in public accounting with significant background in accounting, auditing and consulting with not-for-profit organizations.  She advises her clients on accounting and related business issues including budgeting, operations improvement, cost containment, internal control review, procedures manuals, staff training, and tax issues.

Theresa graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fairleigh Dickenson University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.  Theresa is a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.  She is also a member of the Executive Women of New Jersey and serves on their scholarship committee. The Women’s Fund recently honored Theresa as a Women of Influence in Finance.
