As a Director in Wiss' Business Advisory Group, Donna’s expertise is to evaluate Accounting Departments and identify issues related to: inefficient workflows and processes, organizational structure, and staffing. Using over 20+ years of experience in working with small to mid-size organizations, Donna develops recommendations from an operational and technology perspective, as needed, so that optimization of resources can be achieved within the Department. Donna is able to make those involved in the evaluation to feel comfortable and be open about discussing their concerns and ideas.
Donna has experience in a variety of industries including professional service firms, contractors, retailers, and distributors. No matter what the industry, clients describe Donna as patient and professional as she helps solve their accounting issues.
For many years, Donna has volunteered a tremendous amount of her time working with mentally retarded students. This included teaching life skills and providing social events in the local community. Donna recently began assisting homeless individuals through a local outreach program. In addition, Donna has a passion for providing academic assistance to students with learning disabilities.

Donna has played an integral part in the success of FWRD. Her keen eye for identifying efficiencies, weaknesses, and implementing positive change has contributed to the growth of our outsourced accounting practice.
In her spare time, Donna enjoys taking day trips with one or both of her young-adult children to discover the wonders of unfamiliar local towns. She appreciates attending theatre productions and spending time at museums. An annual highlight is an international trip with her extended family.
