When our community needs us, Wiss gets M.A.D.

At Wiss, we believe there is more to life than balance sheets and income statements. Our partners and staff are committed to giving back to the communities in which we live and work. Through our various volunteer opportunities, we not only help those in need, but we provide an environment that encourages team work and life balance.

Through the Wiss M.A.D. (Making a Difference) Committee, we raise money to fund accounting scholarships at colleges and universities throughout the state as well as various local and regional charities.

Yet our fundraising activities are more than just opening a check book. Our employees roll-up their sleeves and go out into the community to help those around us. Some of these activities include:

  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Community Foodbank of New Jersey
  • Lee National Denim Day in Support of Breast Cancer Research and Awareness
  • American Heart Association’s Wear Red Day
  • Accountants Bowl for Junior Achievement
  • Salvation Army Angel Tag Toy Drive
  • JerseyCares Coat Drive
  • Food Bank For NYC

Want to join in the fun? Check our calendar of upcoming events. Activities are open to anyone and we’d love it if clients or alumni participate!
