WISS routinely visits college campuses throughout the tri-state area seeking to recruit the top candidates for our full time and internship positions.  We attend a variety of events throughout the year, including Career Fairs, Information Sessions and On-Campus Interviews.

A Taste of Real-Life Experience

Internship Program

Full and part-time internships are available in the Fall, Spring and Summer.
Our internship program is an excellent way to experience the ‘real life’ of being a WISS associate.  The program is designed to give our interns the same type of work and training as our entry-level associates.  Instead of making copies and coffee, they collaborate on client work to build meaningful experience.  Interns are exposed to different areas of the firm to provide them with a diverse work experience.  As a result, the overall internship opportunity is designed to be stimulating, challenging, exciting and fun!

Externship Day

Our Summer Externship Day provides accounting majors with an opportunity to learn more about public accounting and career opportunities within the industry.  Students interact with WISS professionals from various departments within the firm, allowing them to gain an insight into different services and niches.  Students spend time networking with WISS employees and receive career guidance including tips on interview skills, resume preparation and other relevant information.  This program presents a wonderful way of learning more about what a future in public accounting can become.

Winter Shadowing Program

Our Winter Shadowing Program is offered to junior accounting majors who want to enrich their knowledge in the field of public accounting.  This two-day event offers participants an opportunity to integrate with WISS professionals and gain hands-on experience through job shadowing and networking.  In addition, students will have the opportunity to receive career advice to help better prepare for their future.
