Renee Rampulla Joins WISS

Renee Rampulla, CPA has joined the Firm, effective  May 4, 2009, as the partner in-charge of the WISS Accounting & Auditing practice and Quality Control Group. Renee will also serve as the partner-in charge of the newly formed WISS International Financial Reporting Standards Group.

According to Jeff Campo, Managing Partner of WISS, the addition of Renee will serve to strengthen our reputation for technical excellence in the field of accounting and auditing while also enabling us to launch our IFRS consulting practice. Renee’s reputation in the profession and background in continuing professional education will provide WISS with increased visibility within the accounting industry. WISS is truly excited to add a partner with the talents of Renee.”

Renee has been solving technical accounting and auditing issues for over 20 years at both regional and Big Four accounting firms. Formerly she was at the AICPA, working closely with many of the AICPA technical committees, as well as writing and revising many of their publications. For several years Renee taught numerous undergraduate accounting courses at a CUNY College.  Most recently she has owned and operated her own consulting practice, Rampulla Advisory Services, and has been the technical consultant assisting the AICPA with their recently exposed Audit and Accounting Gaming Guide.
