Livingston, NJ – James T. Duffy, CPA, Partner at WISS & Company, LLP, a leading regional accounting and consulting firm, was selected as the recipient of The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) 2005/06 Leadership Award.

Duffy was chosen for his successful efforts in expanding WISS’ services and enabling his clients’ growth by focusing on an essential niche market. Jim established and developed WISS’ Food Industry Group, and in the process, differentiated WISS’ service in the highly competitive metropolitan market.

The most significant contribution Duffy has made, however, was in his role as an industry advisor. Through his highly focused work, he saw ways for his clients to align their businesses and work effectively together. The result has been economically beneficial to many of his clients, helping some to achieve significant growth.

Duffy is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), The New Jersey Food Council, the Global Business Roundtable and the New Jersey Technology Council.. He holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Villanova University where he is currently an active member of the Alumni Association. Jim and his wife, Michele, reside in Wayne, NJ, with their two young sons, Ryan and Kyle.
